You must be a registered user with FightWithFood.ORG to post events.
1. Sign in to FightWithFood.ORG using your unique sign on and password
2. Click ‘EVENTS’ (top of the home page)
3. Choose ‘ADD AN EVENT’ (below the calendar)
4. Click the ‘COMMON’ tab (first tab at the top of the page) and populate the following fields:
SUBJECT: Enter the event title
CATEGORY: Select the state where the event will be held from the drop down menu
ACTIVITY: Add event details, use the HTML formatting bar as needed (event lineup, drink specials, sponsors, admission price, parking details, benefitting food bank, all ages?, etc.)
LOCATION: Enter the name and address of the event venue
CONTACT INFORMATION: Enter the primary event contact (can be the venue, event producer, and/or designee)
5. Click the ‘CALENDER’ tab (second tab at the top of the page) and populate the following fields:
START TIME: Enter the time the doors open for the event (include AM/PM)
END TIME: Enter the time the last band will finish playing
START DATE: Click the three dots, select the event date
END DATE: Select the event end date (will be the same as START DATE for single day events, for weekly/monthly events use the date of the last event)
REPEAT TYPE: If the event is reoccurring, select the appropriate event cycle from the drop down menu
6. Click the DISK ICON to save the event and update the calendar (top of page)
7. For further assistance, reference the ‘HELP’ tab
Include your Name, User Name, Address, Phone Number, a short bio of your band, venue, or event production skill set, and how often you plan to include FightWithFood.ORG in your events.
